Costa Caribe golf course overlooks Ponce's crystal Caribbean waters. Costa Caribe Golf & Country Club is affiliated with the Hilton Ponce & Casino. Sitting just outside Puerto Rico's second largest city of Ponce "La Perla del Sur" , “The Pearl of the Oceanâ€, on the south side of the island, is the 27-hole golf complex at Costa Caribe Golf & Country Club The course opened for play in 2003, promptly hosting the Puerto Rico Open in 2004 and 2005.
Costa Caribe was designed by Bruce A. Besse, Jr. The Costa Caribe golf course offers 27 picturesque and challenging holes. The course features the first island green in Puerto Rico. Its physical setting provides breathtaking views of the Caribbean and the Central Mountains coupled with the natural beauty of its 14 man-made lakes and numerous species of birds.
The three loops of nine holes and their palm-fringed fairways wind past a number of man-made water hazards adjacent to the shoreline. The signature hole is the 188-yard, par three, 12th hole which plays to an island green. You can be sure, with water all around this hole, that the putting surface from the tee box appears a lot smaller than the average 6,000 square feet area for greens at Costa.

Have been playing here over 9 years as we vacation at the Hilton. Check out their golf package. Excellent value. Course is never crowded and always in excellent condition. Nice resort course, open fairways only negative is the bunkerswith hard packed sand.
